Out with the old – In with the new… At least in respect to your WordPress blog. If you haven’t updated your WordPress install for a while you may want to consider upgrading WordPress as soon as possible.
There is currently a worm loose in the wilds of the Internet that is exploiting older versions of WordPress.
This particular worm registers a new admin and then attempts to hide itself through JavaScript under the users page. The purpose of the worm is to trash out your blog with spam links and malware. This of course will get you kicked out of the SERPs and cause countless hours of work to be lost. So don’t waste any time, if you haven’t updated in a while do it now before it is too late.
