If you’re a WordPress user Matt Mullenweg’s new (acquired) company After the Deadline offers a simple to use high-end spell checker now available as a WP plugin. If your compose your posts directly in WordPress you can make use of the plugin via the visual editor.
After the Deadline offers: contextual spell checking, advanced style checking, and intelligent grammar checking. You can see a live demo of these features on the After the Deadline’s demonstration site.
Interested in using the plugin? You will need to register for an API key on the After the Deadline website. Once you have created an account you will be able to use the plugin in through your WordPress install. The account that you created on the After the Deadline website shows you stats of how often you’ve used the plugin, which is an interesting feature, but not a necessity.
