New NASA MMO

Have you ever wondered what it would be like bouncing along on the moon? Or was you childhood dream to become an astronaut like it is for so many children. If so, you’re in luck.

Now you can join your fellow space enthusiast and take a trip into space. And it is all compliments of NASA. The new NASA MMO rightly titled Astronaut: Moon, Mars, and Beyond. They have recently released some screen shots of the NASA MMO and an early video of an astronaut bouncing around on the moon completing various objectives and enjoying the desolate landscape. The games graphics (and I agree that Astronaut: Moon, Mars, and Beyond is in the earlier stage of development) look good for an MMO but the somewhat dated at the same time. It might just be the lack of variation on the moon’s surface that give it this feeling.

Here are some screen shots of the NASA massive multiplayer online game set in the year 2035.
