Setting your Desktop Wallpaper

Windows

Under Windows simply right-click on the the image above and select “Set as Desktop Background”. You will then be given the option in the “Desktop Background” panel to set the position of the image, choose to tile it or stretch the image.

Under Windows Vista right-click on the image and choose “Set as Background”, you will be asked to confirm the action, accept and you’re all set.

Mac OS X

First you will need to save the image to your computer where you can easily access it. Next go to the “Apple” menu, and then into “System Preference” and finally into “Personalize”; select “Desktop”. Go to the the “Collection” drop down menu and select “Choose Folder”. Now navigate to the image you just downloaded.

Ubuntu Linux

Save the image to a folder where you can easily locate it, eg. your home folder. Navigate to the image and open it. When the image has opened in the image viewer (Eye of GNOME) go to “Image”, and at the bottom of the menu you will see the option “Set As Wallpaper”. Choose that and you’re all set!

As a side note many browsers allow you to set the image as your Desktop Wallpaper without the need to download it first. To see if your browser has this option right-click on the image and look for an action that allows you to do this.
